can't play the next song

I have the new version "9.9.5 Mega"(chinese version) and "win7"
normally,I like running two Media Player Classic.one is for playing video,another for playing songs.
but sometimes,occasionally,the player can't play the next song in the playlist.it only shows "openning" on "status" bar and I have to close it on Windows Task Manager.
what's wrong with it?

it should not be the problem about playlist and files.

after I remove the song from the playlist and add that song I remove again,it can be played well.

How often does the problem occur in your case on average? Once every 10 songs? 25? 50? 100?

Can you also test version 9.6.5 of the pack? It is useful for the developers of MPC-HC to know in which range of versions in a problem was introduced.

I didn't test 9.6.5,but I think It's ok. I guess

sometimes, I only add 2 songs and the problem still occurs.

I feel it occurs in latest 2 or 3 versions.

Next time the freeze occurs, take the following steps to produce a dump file. This may be helpful for the developers of MPC-HC to determine what goes wrong.

1) Open the 32-bit task manager
c:\windows\syswow64\taskmgr.exe
Don't use the 64-bit one, because it will not create a useable dump!
If you have a 32-bit version of Windows, then you can use the standard Task Manager.

2) Go to the 'Processes' tab and right-click on 'mpc-hc.exe' and then 'Create dump file'.

3) Compress the mpc-hc.dmp file with 7zip/Rar/Zip and upload it.
