How to display filename OSD?
Hi everybody,
a long time ago MPC displayed the filename OSD when pausing/resuming a video. The current version displays the filename just when i open a new file. How can i display the filename OSD in fullscreen-mode at any timestamp of the video?
Many thanks

Re: How to display filename OSD?
MPC only has an option to turn the OSD on or off. It is not possible to configure for which events it shows a OSD message.
Re: How to display filename OSD?
Thats a pity. So theres no possibility to get the information, which file is current playing?
Maybe they will fix this deficiency some time, i'll hope so.
Anyhow, thanks for your information.

Re: How to display filename OSD?
You can view file properties by pressing Shift+F10. That shows the filename.
Re: How to display filename OSD?
Jep, i know this shortcut, but the popup window is mostly too small to show the whole filename and the font is also much too small to being able to read the information while you're sitting on the couch. The only comfort way would be a OSD information in the same size as you get with the shortcut "Crtl+I" when you wanna know remaining time.
I've googled a little bit and it seems, that i'm not the only user missing this feature.
