Cant view mpegs with Windows 8 Empty Cant view mpegs with Windows 8

I just got a new machine with Windows 8. I got the machine for editing with Adobe Premiere. I didn't have this problem with my last machine, but I can' open mpegs and the files also aren't reading when I try to upload them to Adobe Premiere. I'm lost any suggestions?

I downloaded k-lite codec pack and i thought it would fix it, but I still cant open.

Test the file in the included GraphStudioNext tool. Does it play with that?
