Tivo Desktop not seeing MKV after Upgrade
Tivo Desktop not seeing MKV files after upgrade to K-Lite_Codec_Pack_990_Mega from K-Lite_Codec_Pack_810_Mega.

Thanks for the help. Cleared the cache twice with Tivo Desktop and once with CCleaner but still not showing MKV files like before.

Does it work again if you re-install 8.1.0?

Also try if adding this Registry key makes any difference:
- Code:
Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00
[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\SystemFileAssociations\.mkv]
"PerceivedType"="video"

Yes, please try in combination with a non-working version of the pack.
I don't know what exactly TiVo Desktop needs in order to recognize the .mkv files. The codecs are working fine. Registry keys that identify .mkv as a known video file type are also created properly.
Please test some versions in between 8.1.0 and 9.9.0 to find the last working one. Maybe that can shed some light source of the problem.
