playing mkv, where are the fffds video encoder tray icon??
hi, been playing .mkv format with the media player classic home cinema. i want to smooth out some of the artifact in the video (cause it is anime), normally i would go to the tray icon and open the fffds video encoder, there contains a lot of controls i can use to tweak the video. But I can't find it now... i tried the external filter from the option, but the video is non responsive to the control, and when i tried to scroll down in the codec menu, i couldn't find mkv in the list...
so are there anyway to activate the fffds video encoder??
any help would be appreciated!!
thanks in advanced!!

The pack uses LAV Video decoder by default.
You can enable use of ffdshow by adjusting its settings:
ffdshow video decoder > Codecs page > set H.264 and Xvid to libavcodec

It is also possible to choose between LAV and ffdshow as video decoder during installation of the codec pack.
