fl studio & vorbis codec problem

after tweak tool, reinstalls, & more I can't get vorbis to install on pc laptop

What exactly are you trying to install? What kind of error do you get?

installing fl studio(image line). vorbis inf file, acm file load but do not install.
this is on my laptop (a new hp win . No problem on my main pc (win 7).
i've tried a number of context menu editors to enable right click install on the inf. file (image line's fix advice) without success. i've reinstalled many times.
image line's diagnostic tool always reports "vorbis.inf file not installed". downloaded win 8 codec packs etc. used codec tweak tool to enable vorbis decode filter but no success.
any clues greatly appreciated.

Copy the .acm file to the syswow64 folder. Then You should be able to enable it with codec tweak tool.

.inf files from old codecs often do not install properly on 64bit Windows.
