video streaming

i want to setup video streaming with utorrent program. how do i do this? When i press Stream button in utorrent Media Player Classic opens sometimes, but says Opening... and freezes there for so long until windows 8 says the program has frozen or shut down due to error. I have not made any settings changes from default within Media Player Classic, so i assume that it has not been setup and i need to tick or untick a setting to make video streaming work with utorrent and Media Player Classic.

Reviving an old topic here, with a bit of twist...

1) My understanding is that MPC-HC can playback streaming video from YouTube with the help of a plugin, is this correct?

2) Can/could it also handle streaming from Netflix? I am trying to make use of the Inputstream based Netflix plugin for Kodi, and would like to force playback with MPC if at all possible. I understand how to do make Kodi do this, but I don't think/know that it will work. Is this at all possible?

2) Netflix playback uses DRM protection. You can't play it with unauthorized players/plugins.

I know there's a lot behind that last statment, but, briefly, what would it take to get MPC authorized? I guess you'd have to develop a DRM decryption tool? My understanding is that Kodi v18 provides legal playback of DRM.

This is just never going to happen. No point even discussing it.
