XP-theming Empty XP-theming

Why is the option "Don't use XP-theming on the player controls (needs restart)" gone in the newer versions? Even though I use Windows 7 I like the visual effect on the buttons. In my own opinion it just fits with the player better: http://spunit.tk/x/blocky.png .

Why not leave the option there for those who want to use it?

They changed it to automatically adjust to classic XP theme. The option was never intended for other versions of Windows.
