CD Audio stutters

I'm using K-Lite Codec Mega Pack

When I try to use MPC-HC to play an audio CD in my DVD drive, constantly it stutters. But when I play a CD with Windows Media Player, it does not stutter. I've tested this out with 10 CDs so far, same results. All are factory-made CDs (originals), not CD-R or CD-RW copies. None are significantly scratched.

My specs:
OS: Windows 7 SP1
CPU: Core i7 940 @ 2.9 Ghz
RAM: 6 GB (DDR-3 1600MHz)
GPU: Nvidia GTX 680 (PCIe x16, 6.1 GB GDDR3 VRAM @ 3.2 GHz)
Mobo: ASUS P6T Deluxe Motherboard (Intel X58/ICH10R Chipset, ATX)
Sound Chip: On-board ADI AD2000B High-Definition PHY
Audio output: 3.5" stereo mini-plug
Receiver & Amp: AUX input on Panasonic RX-DS620 bookshelf stereo system.

Windows audio control panel section is set to 24-bit @ 192,000 Hz sample rate

I don't have a solution for you. MPC-HC is just not a very good audio player.

I recommend ripping CDs to MP3 files (or FLAC).
