K-Lite Installer not a valid Win32 application? Empty K-Lite Installer not a valid Win32 application?

This evening I downloaded and attempted to install both the Basic and Standard versions of K-Lite. In both cases, when running the exe I was presented with a prompt saying "...K-Lite_Codec_Pack_1830_(Standard or Basic).exe is not a valid win32 application.". I am running Windows XP 32-bit Media Center Edition with Service Pack 3. I have no anti-virus software running. I'm kinda stumped on how to proceed.

Windows XP is not supported anymore.

You need to use an old version:
