No HDR When Using DirectVobSub

Hello, I have mpc-hc and using madvr, almost all settings are in default state right now in both programs. I want to use DirectVobSub on a BluRay disc because I like the placements of the subs on the screen but when I choose DirectVobSub as the renderer and restart the program it just launches the disc in SDR mode. I've tried some stuff but couldn't find a solution. Is it possible to use HDR on a BluRay disc with DirectVobSub?

DirectVobSub does not support passing on HDR metadata.

The player offers options for adjusting subtitle position when using the internal subtitle renderer. By default it uses the placement as intended by the bluray.

You can also move the subtitle up/down by pressing Ctrl+Shift+Plus/Minus
