I used Fast Update to update to 17.0.3 MEGA Beta from 17.0.2 MEGA Beta. To my surprise, it switched on all thumbnails in the Codec Tweak Tool. I then had to switch off all the thumbnails manually. I don't know what other settings it changed even though Fast Update is meant to keep all settings the same.
