my friend just downloaded a blueray x264 movie called 1917.
i gave him a link to maga pack and it did not worked.
so i checked file info and saw avc fornat so i sent him this and it workes.

The pack already includes a decoder for AVC/H.264 video. In fact it even already includes that specific codec you link to. But VFW codecs are only used by applications that use VFW, which are typically video editors. Players usually use DirectShow type codecs. So what player is your friend using?
