Can't install, can't uninstall Empty Can't install, can't uninstall

I'm stuck in a loop!

To install a new version it asks me to uninstall old version and then it starts the uninstaller for me. The uninstaller says it can't find folder G:\K-Lite Codec Pack\unins000.exe and quits. So I can't install any version or uninstall the current 'broken' install.

Windows 10
"installed" K-Lite Codec Pack 14.4.0
"can't install" K-Lite Codec Pack 760 full or 14.6.0

Weird. It should be able to continue when the uninstall fails. Does it show any other messages after the uninstaller error?

If you remove/rename this registry key it won't see the existing install:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\KLiteCodecPack_is1

No other errors, it just closes the installer.
