Hi there, since I've upgraded from XP to W7 ; I'm having big trouble with my old video stuffs. I cannot read most of my old wmv video subtitles.
It worked as a charm with klite 475, but it won't with the latest versions (currently I'm using klite 1375 mega)
So I need your help once again and thanks in advance.

Those should load just fine if you use MPC-HC as player. Subtitle file should have same name as the video.

Excuse me for wasting your time; it appears that the klite475 could read .srt subs such as
1
00.00.00,000-->00.00.0,000
....

But the latest version could just read subs edited like this

1
00.00.00,000 --> 00.00.0,000

And yes as I created this subs I know it should have the same name as matching videos.

Thank you again for your reply and sorry for bothering you

The first subtitle is not valid SRT.

You can use a text-editor to quickly replace "-->" with " --> ".

Did create it 8 years ago and did watch it several times and the fact that's a true srt or not does not matter 'cuz K-Lite 475 Codec Pack Setup did decrypted it perfectly when I was using XP SP2.

And thanks for the advice (that's what I did)

That version is nine years old. It is possible that it may have handled incorrect SRT at some point.

I assume that the nine year version could read what the current versions couldn't ; that's all
