Audio issues. No sound in movies with DTS audio

I dont really understand how klite works. I dont really know how to fix this. I tried re-installing everything. And still no sound.

Every other movie that doesnt have DTS audio works fine.




I'm using windows 10.


P.S: Also after the newest windows update. Movies get paused in fullscreen mode using MadVR.

It should work with default settings. Did you perhaps enable bitstreaming? If so, disable that.

Otherwise, copy this information here:
Codec Tweak Tool > Generate Log

The MadVR problem can be solved multiple ways:
- Disable fullscreen exclusive mode in MadVR settings, or enable D3D11 rendering
- Right-click on your player > Properties > Compatibility > enable option "Disable fullscreen optimizations"

But disabling bitstreaming didn't work.

I managed to make DTS sound work by disabling the DTS box in the audio decoder from Internal Filters.  But now the audio is weird.  Sounds that are not supposed to be loud like voices/conversations/foot steps,  minor things are really loud. And action scenes explosions/screams are ridiculously low.

About the MadVR problem...

Don't disable that DTS checkbox in internal filters. Click on "Audio decoder" to access the decoder settings. There you should see bitstreaming options, which should be disabled.

This is the DTS box that i have disabled.



Here its fine. I havent touched anything.

Unless you actually have a receiver, you should disable all checkboxes in that bitstreaming section. These settings are for sending the compressed audio to an external device for decoding.

On the mixing tab you can configure how the audio is downmixed to stereo (assuming you have stereo speakers?). If voices are too loud compared to the rest, then change the center mix level from 1.0 to 0.71.

Audio is working just fine now.
