11.4.0 Broke Playback

I am using KLMCP for years. But with the latest 11.4.x branch, when playing videos, sometimes after the video stream stops. I can still scrub but can't view visual.

This problem occurs with MPC-HC.
Windows 10 64 Bit.
AMD 15.8 Beta Driver
Video is H.264 4K

Are you using hardware acceleration? If so, try disabling that. The AMD drivers have been very unstable with regard to DXVA.

Which GPU do you have?

You could also try the 15.6 beta driver. It is for Win 8.1, but can be installed on Win 10 (in compatibility mode).

Well, why would I downgrade ?

Why not? What is wrong with using an older driver when the new ones are broken?

You can also keep hardware acceleration disabled until a newer (fixed) driver becomes available.

Upgraded to 15.9 Beta and the problem still occurs. Just with MPC-HC. Other players are fine.

Who is to blame ?

Does it work without hardware acceleration?
Do the other players use hardware acceleration?
Do 1080p videos work correctly?
