Better fast playback speed functionality

Hello,

It would be great if MPC-HC had better playback speed functionality. Right now, tapping the faster or slower arrows is not really usable for watching, more like scrubbing through a timeline. There are many videos and podcasts, or video podcasts that I download and miss the capability that YouTube has to allow these to be played at 1.25x, 1.5x, 1.75x, & 2x speed. Any chance this could be added? I have to download these because the internet is spotty in the places I go to, same for traveling on the road cross-country.

Similarly, is there some way MPC-HC could be made stay in front of all other windows. Like if I made the video window about 1/4 of the screen size but could keep it in a corner and do other work as normal. Is that feasible?

Both already possible for many years.

Options > Player > Speed Step
Menu > Play > Playback rate
Menu > View > On Top

Great! The View on Top is very helpful. And I do see the Speed Step in the Playback>Control section. But the playback rate feature isn't really useful, right?

The main issue is that the faster you go it begins to sound like The Chipmunks. Any chance of enhancing that to retain the normal, intended sound characteristics?

Change the audio renderer to SaneAR to get pitch correction. Which should normally already be default if you use K-Lite.

I've used K-lite for a decade. The audio renderer was set to System Default, I may have set it to that a couple of years ago. SaneAR is usable, thanks, but still not quite all the way there in terms of correction.

That is best what is available. There are no further improvements possible.

Pues sí, al aumentar la velocidad de reproducción a 1.25x o 1.50x, la velocidad incrementa, pero el tono se vuelve agudo y no se mantiene la tonalidad. Hay muchos videos que hablan muy lento y sería muy productivo aumentar la velocidad ya que ahorra tiempo. Ojalá implementen la mejora
