I have some very old videos I am going to play them with the Aceplayer and it does not recognize it, black screen and only sound is heard.

The codec in question is the icmw_32.dll Motion Wavelets (MWV1) I was looking for and found the codec, I put it in the folder, C Windows / system32, it still does not work, any codec installer? Thank you

I have the k lite mega code pack 16.3.0 windows 10 x64

That is a 32-bit codec.

You should put it in c:\windows\syswow64 folder. That contains the 32-bit files.
Then start the Registry Editor (regedit.exe) and go to this key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Drivers32
Add a new string value with name vidc.mwv1 and value icmw_32.dll

Finally you should use a 32-bit player.

Thx very much admin!!!

Do you recommend a 32-bit editor to edit the videos with those codecs?

I have to install the codec in some more folder for the video editor to work?

Yes, only 32-bit applications work with 32-bit codecs. 64-bit applications require 64-bit codecs.

That converter probably does not support external VFW codecs.

You can convert your file with VirtualDub.
