Hi bro , There are two issues here in K-Lite Codec Pack Mega 16.0.2
Hi bro , There are two issues here in K-Lite Codec Pack Mega 16.0.2 :
=====================================================================
This video to show you these two issues
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1d0ON7VugB8K4mwkpkPKD0JVtCEvQmmds/view?usp=sharing
1. mpc video renderer can't run this video.
https://mega.nz/file/4JZAxBTS#wE4Wj2SreWXiJeO9S4prD07TH_SL4j_2M6VvIesypBI (download link for the used video)
2. the preview on seek bar doesn't show the same moment in the video
and I notice that potplayer a little bit faster than mpc in this process.
https://github.com/MacHu-GWU/potplayer-project (source code link for potplayer in the post >> I hope that can help you)
Thank you for fixing that black screen problem in preview on seek bar
And Thank you again for your hard working to develop this great media player and my favourite one.
I Hope That can help you bro

That video plays ok here. No crash.
Which graphics card and driver do you have?
Any non-default settings in MPC Video Renderer?
Are you using Shaders in MPC?
Potplayer is not open source, and that is not source of potplayer.

- Any non-default settings in MPC Video Renderer?
=> I think no. I sent to you my setting . (on my setting I have no problem in that video)
=================================================================================================
- Are you using Shaders in MPC?
=> To be honest. I don't know Shaders (I sent to you my setting)

Sorry, bro

Re: Hi bro , There are two issues here in K-Lite Codec Pack Mega 16.0.2
This file uses Hi444 profile. In MediaInfo details that is shown as:
Assuming it only happens with Hi444, lets us experiment with colorspace settings.
MPC-HC Menu > Play > Filters > click on LAV Video Decoder
This will open its settings. In the "Output Formats" section, disable "Y410".
Restart player and test if this solves the problem.
If not, disable all formats below 10-bit and 16-bit. Then test again.
- Code:
Chroma subsampling : 4:4:4
Bit depth : 10 bits
Assuming it only happens with Hi444, lets us experiment with colorspace settings.

yes, this file uses Hi444.
when I disabled "y410" the video work with a problem in the color "with blue color"
when I disabled all formats below 10-bit and 16-bit. ( the video works normally

when I used my setting => I set > output > DirectShow Video > Enhanced Video Renderer (custom presenter). ( the video works normally

(The file I sent to you "Abdallah setting")
I hope you fix this problem "the preview on seek bar doesn't show the same moment in the video" in the next version.
I tried to find the potplayer source code to help you with that problem but I Can't find it. I will search again If I find anything I will tell you.
And Thank you for your Hardworking to develop Mpc-HC.

Re: Hi bro , There are two issues here in K-Lite Codec Pack Mega 16.0.2
Enable all formats again. Then press Ctrl+J to show the debug statistics of MPC Video Renderer.
Does this debug text display correctly? If so, please take a screenshot for me.
Then disable y410 and take another screenshot (debug still enabled). So I can see what is wrong with blue color.
These screenshots can help the developer of MPCVR to find cause of the problem.

Does it work properly if you enable "Use Direct3D 11" in MPC Video Renderer settings? Test with all formats enabled in LAV.

Re: Hi bro , There are two issues here in K-Lite Codec Pack Mega 16.0.2
You don't need to show how other renderer works. We already know that one works. Only the tests with MPC Video Renderer are needed.
You can access the settings of MPC Video Renderer through a shortcut in your Start menu.
Test the following settings in MPC Video Renderer:
1) Enable "Use Direct3D 11"
2) Disable "Other supported formats" in DXVA2 video processor box
Test with one change at a time.

Re: Hi bro , There are two issues here in K-Lite Codec Pack Mega 16.0.2
So video is good with both settings changes, right?
It think this is enough information to fix the problem in the renderer, so it will also work with default settings in the future.

Can you download DXVAChecker
https://bluesky-soft.com/en/DXVAChecker.html
(download link is at bottom of page)
And then make screenshot of this page in DXVAChecker:
https://i.imgur.com/65YR1Q8.png
So "Processor Device" tab, then below that "DXVA 1/2" tab, then select "Progessive Device" in the list, and then "DXVA2" radiobutton.
