HEVC 10bit AAC won't play on BS.player

I'm trying to watch some .mkv videos on BS.player pro 2.64 but it only plays as an audio file. I tried it on Windows Media Player and it plays just fine.
I'm using version 12.9.1 Full of the K-Lite Codec Pack, the newest available.

Video files specifications:
video tracks: HEVC (H265 Main 10@ L4.0)
audio tracks: AAC 2.0

just don't know what to do anymore to fix this. Please help.

Check which filters BSPlayer is using. There should be an entry for that in the menu when you right-click on the video. It should be using LAV Splitter and LAV Video decoder. If it uses a different splitter or decoder, then you should disable that in BSPlayer settings.

Which video renderer does it use? Enhanced video renderer does not work properly with 10bit input in combination with certain graphics driver versions.

In LAV Video Decoder settings, uncheck the P010 output format.

Could you copy this information:
Codec Tweak Tool > Generate Log > System Information

This information can be used to make the installer uncheck that setting by default.

Yes, it's using EVR. So what renderer should I use instead of this?
I unchecked the P010 but it didn't improve.

Try unchecking the other 10 and 16 bit formats as well in LAV Video.

If that doesn't help, then you need to ask for help on the BSPlayer forum or update to a newer version of that player. I don't use it myself, so my knowledge of it has its limitations.
