Problem installing K-Lite Mega Codec Pack

Hello!
The problem I have is that I can not install «K-Lite Mega Codec Pack» version 11.0.0 above.
At the end of the installation of a new version (11.0.0 above), I get an error: «runtime error at 172:82 out of string range».
My system is Windows 7 x64 SP1.
What could be the problem?

Can you run the installer with the command-line parameter /log="c:\klcp.txt" ? Copy the last part of log here. That should hopefully give a clue where the problem occurs.

And 10.9.5 is working correctly?

Yes. Anything less than version 11.0.0 installed well

At the beginning of the installation, select the Advanced install mode. Then later disable options to create file associations. Does it work without error with those settings?

A small bug has been found. So I suspect your problem should be gone in next version.

I tried various options, but the error still remained. Disable file associations also does not help. So I decided to ask for help on this forum.

Search the Registry for .mk3d
I think you will find a broken file association with some empty value. Deleting all keys that contain .mk3d will probably solve the problem.

Deleted all registry keys with the extension «.mk3d». It did not help. The error remained.

You were absolutely right. The new version of the error does not appear.
K-Lite Mega Codec Pack 11.2.8 installed without problems.
