need Help for southafrica CD with DRM

I hope that I am here in the right forum.
I have the following problem:
I have got a CD from South Africa burnt. it probably still has a protection DRM.
I can play them neither on my PC with WIN7 nor on my normal CD player.
however, on the CD I see 17 wma the files which I can also copy on hard disk.
with which codec must I play the files, so that I can convert them to mp3?
who knows advise?

A normal audio CD will appear as .cda files when opening it on your computer. So that is why it did not play on your CD player.

wma files can contain DRM. You need to use Windows Media Player to play them. WMP will download a license key to decrypt the files. Once such a key is present on your computer, there are tools that can convert the file to mp3. Just google for "remove drm from wma".

To acquire the decryption key you need to play it once in a player that supports DRM. Not many of those exists, and WMP is already available on your computer.
