i restored my machine to factory settings and installed Codec Pack 10.60. Previously i had 10.20 and every thing was fine Very Happy .
Now, with 10.60 i am having two problems Sad .
1:-
I am not able to decode *.flv files with ffdshow video decoder, so i can resize them to my screen resolution while playing.

2:-
I have some mt2s/avchd files. i need to disable media foundation to get there sound (this solution was told on this forum to me sometime ago).
But now when MS Codec Tweaks on disabling media foundation (64-bit), i get this error.

K-Lite Mega Codec Pack upgrade to 10.60 problems 20uoprn

I've restarted the machine many times.

Please help.

1. You do not need to manually resize the video. Video is automatically resized when you play it in fullscreen. You can view in fullscreen by pressing F11. That works with both WMP and MPC-HC.

2. Close all other programs, like Firefox.

If you want to know which program is using the file:
1) Download Process Explorer:
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx
2) Use the Find function to search for mfds.dll

As alternative to disabling Media Foundation, you can also try disabling the Microsoft audio and video decoders.

Or boot Windows in safe mode.
