No audio capture devices showing after install
I have been using manycam with FMLE. I installed the standard k-lite to get manycam to play mp4s. After doing this manycam now shows no audio sources and FMLE is doing the same.
I unstalled the k-lite and still shows no audio sources. Been rebooting computer too just in case.
I can hear sounds through my headphones and computer speaker.
How do I get my audio sources to show back up? Do I reinstall K-lite and which package?
Thank you

Re: No audio capture devices showing after install
I don't think this problem is codec related.
I don't have any experience with ManyCam. Maybe this is helpful:

Re: No audio capture devices showing after install
Thank you for the help.
I am using XP and have the SoundMax Integrated Digital Audio driver 5.12.1.7000
If I go to control panel and "uninstall" the driver, then reboot computer, will the computer then reinstall the driver? I have sound on the computer but noticed under "sound and audio devices properties" in the sound recording default device, it has soundmax listed but the advanced tab is grayed out.

Re: No audio capture devices showing after install
It should install automatically. But if not, you can always get an installer for it from the website of the manufacturer of your computers motherboard.
Re: No audio capture devices showing after install
Thank you for the reply. It did install on reboot. Still have sound but programs ie: manycam and FMLE show no audio sources detected. Thinking it might be a registry problem.

Re: No audio capture devices showing after install
Thank you for the link. I am reviewing it.
The strange part is manycam used to show my audio device "soundmax" in the audio sources area. I have sound playing fine on computer but perhaps it is not broadcasting. I had download a k-lite package and then had to uninstall and I am thinking I must have deleted an HKEY in the registry.
As a test I have been trying to reinstall manycam but it gets up to where it loads the audio driver and then it hangs there forever. Then if reboot it will sometimes reinstall.
I downloaded my soundmax drivers and it has everything installed again so far it seems since sound is still working.
