That LG software needs codecs to be able to open videos. K-Lite is an easy way to install the correct codecs. It also detects and fixes any codec related problem on a system. That is probably why they recommend it.

The default settings of K-Lite should be fine as well.

Thank you for the quick reply, if you have time , try completing the instructing shown. I have, ive been round and round circles, there is no (advanced) or (profile6 : standard playback and encoding without player) . Imagine someone with no computer skills buying LG360 camera and being hit with this garbage.

Ive phone LG and they havent a clue about Codec website. Infact I was left on the phone for 20mins while someone in LG
looked at k-lite Codec.

Can someone help me with this LG rubbish message.
