FHD playback Empty FHD playback

Post by KDow Mon Jul 04, 2016 3:28 pm

Hi,
I took some 1920x1080 50p videos with my new camera.
When playback with Media Player Classic Home Cinema (zoom 100%) on a monitor set in 1920x1080 native resolution, the video does not occupy the full screen.
My player version is 1.7.10.28 (0115ec4)
During playback I can double-click screen to achieve full screen display.
But why does it not display full screen when zoom is at 100%?

Thanks and regards.

Because then there is no room for the player controls. To utilize the entire screen you must use fullscreen. That is only logical. You wouldn't expect 100% zoom for a 3840x2160 video either do you?

Thanks, so now I know. Had thought I might have missed on some settings.

Just a thought, whether or not KLite can have a preference option to play videos Full Screen. Player controls can appear when the cursor moves over the video... just like the YouTube videos when playing in full screen.
