unable to seek mkv in wmp

I am playing the following file(as shown in lav splitter)
V:mpeg4 advanced simple profile, yuv420p, 640x272
A:588 tc0 l2 2ch 48 128 delay 0ms (mp3 48000hz, stereo, 128kb/s
extension is mkv
my os is windows 10, wmp 12, intel graphics 4600 driver version - 20.19.15.4331

Codec Tweak Tool > Media Foundation > Disable for .mkv
This will make WMP use the codecs from the pack instead of the inferior ones from Microsoft.

it is working but too slow in seeking

The file might not have an index table for seeking. You can 'fix' the file by remuxing it with MkvToolNix or Haali muxer.
