"Touch Window From Inside" option behaving differently in 11.5.0

In the latest version of K-Lite (11.5.0), of which I downloaded the Mega variant, I noticed that in MPC-HC the "Touch Window From Inside" option is no longer working like it used to previously. Previously, with this option and "Override aspect ratio" set to 16:9, the video would touch the player window from the inside height-wise only in windowed mode and would automatically stretch across the window completely in fullscreen mode. This was working fine till 11.4.5

In 11.5.0, the video touches the window on the inside WIDTH-WISE

Now, I have to select "Stretch to Window" but that results in weird outputs for some videos in windowed mode, like so (video appears flattened)

As you can see, it works desirably when the video is already in 16:9 format, but up until the previous version, it would work for ALL resolutions. Is there any way to bring back this feature?

BTW, the option works correctly again if you completely reset MPC-HC from OPTIONS -> MISCELLANEOUS -> RESET. But I don't want that since it resets EVERYTHING and all the settings from the pack installation.

Are you sure "Override aspect ratio" is enabled in your first screenshot? It looks like the original aspect ratio. And why are you overriding AR if you don't like flattened/stretched video?

For every screenshot "Override aspect ratio" is enabled. That's the thing, previously with this option and "Touch Window From Inside" enabled, ALL videos appeared like 4th screenshot in windowed mode and stretched across the window in fullscreen mode, but now that same configuration is not working for all files. In order to get that I now have to enable "Stretch to Window". Now it stretches all videos in fullscreen mode. I don't mind stretched videos in fullscreen mode (I prefer them, actually ), but I really don't like the flattened image I see in windowed mode like in the 3rd screenshot. Hope that answers your question

I am not able to reproduce it with these steps. Do you change any other settings?
1) Install 11.4.0 with default settings and set override aspect to 16:9
2) Upgrade to 11.5.0

This is exactly what I did as well. Was working fine up till 11.4.5. Problem started in 11.5.0

UPDATE: This problem only occurs if video renderer is madVR. Works fine in other renderers. Tested with EVR Custom Presenter

There was a change in MPC-HC to let madVR have control over the video size. It seems they forgot the override aspect ratio option. I will ask the developers.

Just an FYI, issue still unresolved in 11.5.3

The developers are aware of the problem. It needs to be fixed in MPC-HC. My estimate that is will be sometime next week.
