Optimus problem Empty Optimus problem

Post by christantoan Fri Jul 24, 2015 7:08 am

After upgrading to Windows 10 and updating KLCP 10.3.0 (which requires reinstall), the installer doesn't detect the Optimus system in this notebook.
I suspect it's because of the separate driver NVidia provides for Windows 10 users which fails KLCP detection.

For now, I'll be using the Nvidia Inspector workaround but I still prefer the renaming MPC workaround since I don't have to do that almost every reboot.

Thanks

Can you post this info?
Codec Tweak Tool > Generate Log > System Information

Can you check if this Registry key exists? And perhaps export it as .reg file and copy it here.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\NVIDIA Corporation\Global\CoprocManager

Thanks. It should work again in next version (if you do a clean install again).
