Bitstraming HDMI NO Audio

I've this problem if i set the bitstream trough hdmi I have no audio: Ac3 ,Dts ,DTs Hd etc .....I tried both with ffdshow and Lav codec audio and video but I haven been able the resolve the problem. I have not the problem with Vlc or Powerdvd15 or other players but MHC is my favourite and would continue to use it.I tried to set audio direct show with all possible options but it didn't work

Go to the Windows control panel and make sure that the correct device is set as default in the Sound settings.

Does it also fail if you for example play an MP3 file? In that case it should send uncompressed (= PCM) audio over the HDMI connection.

That should happen automatically for all formats for which bitstreaming is not enabled.

You could try if you have more luck with AC3Filter, which is included in the Mega version of the codec pack.

I installed yet the Mega version of the codec pack ......I need to abilitate something ?

Uninstall the pack and then re-install it. At the beginning of the install you can choose AC3Filter as the preferred audio decoder.
