Some WMV files won't play properly in MPC but does in WMP
I've been trying to play a bunch of video files but they only fully work in WMP. In MPC the video only progresses when I skip ahead then remains still at any part of the video.
I'm running Windows 7 64bit
I've installed the full codec 10.6.0
Tried the NVIDIA edge enhancement modification and toggling VSYNC but did nothing.
This is the type of file that's bugging:

It uses the standard WMV decoder from Microsoft for such files.
You could try enabled WMV formats in LAV Video decoder.

Thanks it works better now, it still stutters a bit but I guess that's the file's quality not the decoders right?

You could also try changing the splitter:
Codec Tweak Tool > Preferred Splitters
Considering that the Microsoft filters have problems with this specific file, it is likely the problems are due to the file itself.
