Problem with Skip Forward / Skip Back in MPC Empty Problem with Skip Forward / Skip Back in MPC

Hello.
I upgraded my version of K-Lite Codec Pack to the most recent 10.6.0 Mega. And now I have a problem with how skipping works. In previous version (sorry don't remember which it was) there was 5sec.-jumps. Now I can only move between key frames. Moreover "short", "medium" and "by key frames" Skips back/forward works identically, by jumping to closest key frame. No difference. And only "long" Skip make jump to the fifth key frame from the closest. It's really inconvenient since skip intervals can (randomly, it seems) vary from 1 sec. to almost 10 sec.
Is there still old "skip by 5 sec." somewhere or, if not, how can I make it? Well, aside from uninstalling current pack and installing some of the old ones.
Thanks in advance.

MPC-HC options > Tweaks > disable "Fast seek"

Fast seek makes seeking less accurate by jumping to the nearest keyframe. It works reasonably well here with most videos even when jumping 5 seconds. But it of course depends on the keyframe distance used in the video.

Maybe they can make the function a bit smarter in the future to prevent a high inaccuracy while jumping. I will contact one of the developers.

Thank you.

And some of the videos has variable keyframe distance, which makes it hard to predict how long next jump will be.
