About the "Auto-load subtitles" and "Use the built-in subtitle renderer" the same?

I followed a guide and arrived at a part where you need to disable the auto-load subtitles

but all i see is Use the built-in subtitle renderer

so yeah are both the same?

Yes, that is the same option. It has recently been renamed.

A bit of a warning regarding following such guides, they are often outdated and suggest unnecessary configuration changes.
