klite codec question

I installed the klite codec pack earlier because certain videos would not play. Sound would but no video. (mpg to be specific). I use winamp 5.581 for my media player.

I discovered that as long as the codec pack was installed, anytime i accessed my documents, the windows explorer would encounter an error and close to just my desktop image then return. I uninstalled the codec and it works ok, I checked the details on the error, and it mentioned the following:
AppName: explorer.exe AppVer: 6.0.2900.5512 ModName: icarosthumbnailprovider.dll ModVer: 2.2.4.301 Offset: 00033ab6

Im using windows XP service pack 3 (i know its not supported....so please no negative comments about that please.)

I was wondering if there was either another codec you could suggest....or a way to get this one to work (it worked fine yesterday).

Ive tried klite mega, and full 10.4.5.0 with no luck....just the same issue.

Do you have a very old computer with a processor that does not support SSE2?

The 10.4.7 update should then solve your problem.
