solved - video quality not clear after formatting computer

Hello,

After a recent formatting/reinstallation of windows XP sp3, I am experimenting some problems with video quality (first time this problem occurs after multiple reformatting over several years).
The video rendering is foggy, like there are thick superimposed layers. Video shivers when playing, image has difficult to wedge/calibrate and there is like high motion-blur.
The problem occurs similarly in windows media player and media player classic, with different videos.




Computer system : Windows XP sp3 / Core2Duo E4400 / Nvidia GeForce8400Gs / 1go RAM
I am using mega pack 10.1.0, have tried reinstall old version 8.9.5 and full pack 10.1.0 -> same problem.
Videocard last version drivers are updated (331.65), have tried reinstall old drivers 327.23 and 310.xx -> same problem
Have tried to set hardware acceleration parameters (in system / in video player / in LAV video filter) -> same problem

Please what can I do to solve it ? Thanks in advance.

In MPC-HC you could try if there is any difference between video renderers.
Options > Playback > Output

One thing that may help to improve smoothness of playback is to change the refreshrate of your screen. It is currently set to 60 Hz. For video playback 59 Hz usually works better.
